P&O Cruises has announced the biggest ever program of cruises from Australia
and New Zealand with new itineraries added from November 2010 through to
July 2011. This release also details some exciting changes to the deployment of Pacific Pearl which will now enter service in December 2010 in Auckland.
Pacific Jewel continues year round from Sydney with sister ship Pacific Dawn year round from Brisbane. Pacific Pearl becomes New Zealand’s first superliner, entering service in December 2010 with a 2 month summer deployment from Auckland, returning in May for a 2 month autumn/winter season. Pacific Sun cruises from Sydney between November 2010 and January 2011 before transferring to Newcastle for a fantastic new autumn program, after which she joins Pacific Dawn in Brisbane on 7-night Queensland and South Pacific cruises – the first time two ships are deployed from Queensland. All ships and homeports feature in our biggest ever theme cruise program
with 11 new departures to choose from.
Pacific Pearl features a multitude of new itinerary highlights for 2011, including the return of the popular month long itinerary to Tahiti from Sydney in July 2011, the first roundtrip cruise from Australia to visit Norfolk Island. Newcastle also gets its first New Zealand itinerary over 14-nights in February 2011 as well a unique 4 night short break cruise to Melbourne. From Auckland,
a new 15-night Queensland itinerary is the pick of the autumn/winter season, visiting Cairns, Port Douglas and the Whitsundays.
